Smart, TimeLord, Horford for Embid ?

Sixers laugh at us and hang up

Ok take out TimeLord and add in JB ?

Philly could listen then. I think it’d take Smart, Jaylen, Timelord + picks to get it done. Embiid may have his flaws but he’s the reigning MVP. Don’t know why PHI would want Horford back either lol he was a disaster there

Philly have been saying Embiid is untouchable. They have no interest in moving on from him. Want to continue to build around him.

It might be interesting to revisit this idea in 12 months time if James Harden leaves this summer. Philly may be more open to moving on from Embiid then. Or maybe they'll have enough cap flexibility after T Harris' deal expires that they will continue to rebuild around Embiid.

Harden is gone.

He will make just as much if not more with local Houston endorsements.

Embid will be a lonely fish in Philly

Cs can take that horrid Harris contract back with Embid

Yeah, I double checked to be sure, Tobias Harris has only 1 more season on his deal.

So it is not that bad of a situation for Philly. Even if Harden leaves, with both Harden & T Harris off their books, Philly will have a huge amount of cap flexibility next summer in 2024.

Wonder if we persevere with double-big, or go back to two guards, two wings and a big.

Carter Jr. is a name I've always liked. Vucevic & Valanciunas are older guys I have long wanted. Mason Plumlee is a nice reserve big, which doesn't address the issue. Paul Reed and Xavier Tillman are draft binkies who I would like too. Daniel Gafford?
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Double big isn’t going to work if we don’t have someone at least as effective as Horford has been, though.

As in historically? Because his current output is easily replicable

Siakam, Randle, Towns, W. Carter, Sabonis…

I would like to see Brown as the centerpiece to trading for a big.  Who should we trade for and who can we trade for?  I hope Wyc and Brad are thinking the same thing.
Ah..Jaylen Brown...yes I tried to pretend he's a good fit but he's too much like JT, iso ball, plus terrible handles. I'm ready to dive into the trade JB camp...not sure if any of those bigs are available...Towns or Sabonis would be great

This is a good list. I think Sabonis is untouchable though given what the Kings found. But I agree we need a big since Tatum would rather attack from the outside than start from the post. I’d be most interested in Towns or Siakam. Both teams are also a good destination for Brown, fit-wise

Would absolutely do Towns or Siakam.

If we could nab Franz Wagner alongside Carter Jr. I’d also trade Brown for that duo.
