Because I got to say, after Horford and Timelord I have no idea what our depth chart really is, and frankly I don't think the coach knows either.

It seemed painfully obvious yesterday that Mazzulla was just subbing guys in left and right hoping something would work, and nothing really did. But that's not exactly a good problem to have with just 18 games left in the season. And lets face it, Timelord isn't reliable from a health perspective so you probably have to identify who that 3rd big actually is.

Also, why did we even trade for Muscala if he's barely going to play? Maybe his right knee is still bothering him (idk), but since the Break he's only played 26 total minutes and we've played 5 games.

I think we got a solid 7 man rotation with the three combo guards, the two Js, Grant, Horford and Rob Williams.

Then we have a choice of offensive minded 8th men depending on whether we need a small guard (Pritchard), a wing (Hauser) or a big man (Muscala). More matchup dependent with the 8th guy.

Can’t call it a solid 7 man rotation when Timelord is never healthy or available. Also, Grant has been phased out lately so not sure he’s relatable anymore either. He’s been bad. Best lineup at this point is Smart/White/JB/JT/Horford and Brogdon off the bench. Not much guaranteed after that. Feels like similar situation to last year depth wise at this point. Anything happens to Horford and this team is toast.

you mean big man depth and roster construction is a problem, who could have ever predicted that?
