He made a solid offer for Poeltl,  but Raptors gave a better one. What's he do? Finds a player who's a better fit and cost fewer assets.

A leader of the OKC locker room. 31 years old, sniper. Can play with Horford, Rob, Grant, Kornet.

That's another homerun add for Brad. White, Brogdon and now the moose is loose. 5 star review on yelp for Brad the GM!

Great addition. Got a feeling he’ll become a beloved Celtic who sticks around 4-5 more years before retiring. The only question is whether the fan base settles on the nickname of Moose or Musky.

I'll give him this. He at least makes the moves, even the small ones. Ainge would sometimes do absolutely nothing, especially during trade deadlines while every other team was getting pieces. Even if a player only cost a 2nd round pick, Ainge would not do the trade. It annoyed me

I like Musky myself Greenly, but a Moose and a Buffalo is tough to defeat. TP for first responder Gmoney!

Agreed. It drove me nuts. Danny did the heavy Lifting,  but could not make the fine adjustments and actually give up assets like B Money is doong.

Yeah, Danny grossly overvalued picks. The all-time best non-lottery pick is Kawhi at 15, and the all-time best second-round pick is Jokic at 41. For those two guys and the few other HOFers like them drafted outside the lottery (Giannis, Nash, Parker, Ginobli), there’s literally hundreds of guys drafted 15-60 who never even started an NBA game.

I hope Brad loves this job and has no wish to return to the bench.

Yeah, I mean I liked Ainge. He did well here. But I really do think his inability to make certain moves really cost us in some of those years between 2016-2020. Yeah the Warriors and Cavaliers were elite, but as we saw in 2018 we still nearly beat CLE, but while CLE made reinforcements at the deadline (like Jeff Green, George Hill, etc.) Ainge did nada. And that certainly was part of the difference.

Even with some of the elite teams during that time like Golden State, Houston, Cleveland, etc. having loaded teams, their GMs still made minor moves to bolster further. I think Brad Stevens the coach lowkey got sick of it too. Once he became GM, he even shipped off most of the draft picks Ainge got lol (Nesmith, Langford, etc.) and clearly could care less about our next few first round picks

He’s that dude, but he’s not the dude.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Agreed. And Brad the GM is better because brad the coach was screwed over by Ainge.

I think he might genuinely be as good a GM as he is a coach. Is happy to pull the trigger on moves that will immediately make us better (Brogdon, White, Muscala), gives out good and fair contract extensions to elite core pieces, and has a good eye for coaching staff... besides maybe a character assessment of Ime ;D
