Rob is the difference.
a great win, and yeah, TL is amazing. i had forgotten how good he is on defense.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Let's see if they can maintain interest in this game given it's against a bottom feeder. 4 of our last 5 losses, the ones that have caused a lot of angst and wrist slitting, have been to bottom feeder teams (Orlando x2, Indiana, OKC) and mainly due to lack of effort and focus. Let's see if the usual suspects that tend to take nights off against these types of teams (Al, GWill, Smartacus) do the same, or will they make an effort this time? If they make an effort, we should win easily. If they don't, it could be another self-flagellating night for us  :(

I haven't watch the game yet so this may be an ignorant comment but:

Al 2-7 4 pts
GWill 0-3 2 pts
Smartacus 2-4 5 pts

Did they bring the same energy Timelord apparently did tonight?

Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

All ISOs.

Yeah, it's really frustrating. When things start getting tight, we've been going straight to iso ball, which just kills our offensive flow.

That is called a mentally weak team. When the game tightens up, they don't persevere with playing the correct way, they panic and go back to what they are comfortable with and to what they are used to. Just like trying to change a bad habit in life, it takes time and patience and mostly constant mental focus - which is harder work than physical effort.

Part of that is on the coach. He has to DEMAND they play the right way and the way that is best long-term for us to win titles with this group. Seems Ime emphasized that on the defensive end, though he was clueless about offense. Now we have what appears to be a good offensive mind in a head coach who is not strong enough to stand up to the players (Brad Stevens II).
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

watched on tape delay.  hot takes from tonight's game:
- got off to a good start out of the gate and had a good end to the second quarter.
- rest of the first half they lacked focus on both ends
- second half was a crapshow.  awful iso offense.  toreador defense.  clueless ball handling/passing
- Timelord was the difference between winning and losing tonight.
- Joe once again just let the tomfoolery run on and on without calling timeouts to right the ship.  should have taken notes from Pop who didn't wait to use them when he needed to get his team on track.
- end of the game was once again a fright fest of incompetence with this run-out-the-clock mentality.  each game they've done this it's let the other team right back into the game.  horrible coaching approach to winning a game

I thought they stole one tonight. In the 2nd half, their team D was poor - no one got out on SA's perimeter guys and as a result they were pretty much able to do what they wanted. Rob bailed them out. And Brogdon had a great game though for whatever reason Joe decided to sit him for most of the last 4 minutes.

Take the W. Move on.

Was at the game tonight.  A lot of Celtic fans there.  Got nerve racking in the end.  But gutted it out.  Al needs to come off the bench. Start Rob.

Chicken Little say “ nice win on the road “

Ps …notice Pop rests players ,  but everybody else not resting plays at 100% engaged ,  no games off …for being brain dead .  Everyone must be professional and focused on winning.

I think Ime was better than the current administrator at the above

I still don't get why they do this at the end of games when they are ahead. They've gotten burned with it several times, every single time.

I'm mystified as well.  this is not something they've carried over from prior coaches.  this is a new wrinkle and it's a @#$@#show
