watched on tape delay. tonight's hot takes:
- awesome offensive display by the J's tonight. they were fantastic
- PP was fantastic. quite possibly his best game for the C's - ever.
- off night for Hauser and White with their shooting but they made a solid impact in other aspects
- only player I'd say had a low-quality game was Smart.
I did not see the whole game and didn't see much of Smart's 24 minutes at all. He ended up +28 in those 24 minutes. He was in foul trouble but he certainly seemed to make a big difference on the scoreboard when he was on the floor.
Really fun to see Pritchard have an impact. Stepping right up with Brogdon out.
For White and Hauser, yes, they were not hitting, it is going to happen, but both kept playing hard. Allowed to bench to be an asset, a plus.
Interesting to me is that Horford, Grant, Vonleh, and Kornet (our bigs that played) combined for 81 minutes. That means we played roughly 15 minutes with only 1 big (actually, there is some rounding, the line ups numbers say 14 minutes with 1 big). We were +16 with 1 big line ups. +15 in 12 minutes of non-garbage time line ups. Kornet was the one big for 8 minutes and was +12 in that time. Horford was +6 in his 6 minutes as te one big. Grant was -2 in 18 seconds as the one big. Denver did not exploit their size advantage.
