JT said this and all the Heat fans are going ballistic! I think JT was just being sarcastic with the ?easiest path to the championship? narrative. I mean a lot of people were clowning us for beating injured teams and now they?re suddenly getting too sensitive?
To be fair, as much as the Heat have given us problems the Celtics in the last 3 playoff matchups have only lost like 2 games in miami
I'll also add, since 2020 the teams have faced each other in four playoff series. It's 2-2
Yet whenever Jimmy Butler makes fun of the Celtics it's because he's "Himmy" and the Heat apparently own the Celtics. When JT throws a fun jab that "fanbase" gets sensitive, and I say fanbase in quotes because most of them are bandwagoners who probably think Lebron still plays there and it's the same fanbase who have empty seats all over the arena in playoff games.
