Lakers get better while getting rid of their biggest headache. C's get squat for Schroder
They can do the trade without Boston and it has been floating around as a possibility. The C's get a good shooter for their bench on a vet minimum, a 2nd round pick, a rookie high 2nd rounder signed cheaply for 3 years, and well below the tax line. That seems like solid enough value for Schroder.
