Huge What-If: We Had Obtained CP3 After the Bubble

There’s no denying that Phoenix went from zeroes to heroes after bringing in CP3, so what if we had obtained CP3 instead of Phoenix, while still retaining JT & JB? What kind of deal could have trumped Phoenix’s deal (would have obviously included moving Kemba, maybe Hayward S&T too?), and what kind of roster would we have around such a Big 3? Would we be title favorites right now?

It’s a very huge what-if, but I think the answer is we probably wouldn’t have CP3 this year.  There was a lot of talk that he wanted to return to LA to be closer to his family.  While Phoenix isn’t LA, it’s a short charter away.  I think if we traded for CP3 after the bubble that he’d have tried to get to LA somehow last summer.  Maybe we’d have Kuzma, Harrell, and KCP I suppose.
