To me it’s unreal that a team pays a player to just sit out rather having him play..example: John Wall..being paid 45 million this year & 48 million next season and just sit on the bench..heck I would love to have a job like that!

No reason to risk him getting hurt if there's any chance ( it's most unlikely...) that you can trade him.
