A bit OT:

With TL starting to flourish, one would think his trade value is increasing as well. Would it be wise to sell high on him, granted there’s a 3 way deal out there that nets us Simmons in exchange for Smart and Timelord? I’m pretty torn but the idea of JT,JB, and Simmons looks like a perennial contender to me.
Timelord has a poison pill provision in his contract that makes trading him this year extremely difficult. So he is going nowhere but into the C's locker room this year.

If Rob had gone to another team i think he could be out of league with injuries. The Celtics in essence his first year red shirted  .There was the new Auerbach Center his apartment and his life coach. And he had Al Horford and Brade Stevens who was unflappable and now gave him his first making money contract.Hes got Al back  and he has always been surrounded by players thay put in the work young or vets..
I've seem him flat out dive for loose balls ala Dave Cowen's ,i have him passing like its a gift and last night to lose the ball and take it back away take a cool athletic dribble or two was as good as it gets for a recovery from a poked away steal .
He is without a doubt special--How good do you  guys think he can get. Coeuld McCale teach him an inside game.He took some shots that were not dunks.
I like the mix of talent Jason ,Jaylen, Romeo, Aaron Nesmith -all proto-type NBA bodies with length and wingspan--Then theris Payton Pritchard between the face mask and new physicality it's impacted his game along with Jason and Grant hitting threes and strong but missing wingspan

That was a great sequence.  His ability to snatch a ball and get his body controlled and then have immediate awareness of what to do next is amazing.  His hands and his brain are unique.  Also a pogo stick for legs. That said, I have virtually no faith that he can remain healthy.

I can't watch all the games due to being in a very inconvenient timezone. But I gotta say I'm so very encouraged by not just his play, but also the potential for him to stay healthy now.

Timelord looks like he's really settled down. More groundbound rather than going 110% each possession. He's gone from less than 20 mins a game to 30 a game.

Yes he's very explosive and extremely athletic. But the guy isn't heavily reliant on overwhelming with athleticism - a la the frontcourt of Lob City Clippers - Timelord has crazy wingspan and is just generally quick.

Just keep working on that body, and spend all his time watching film of Boris Diaw and Al Horford. You know what, they're also in that short stubby big man mold. Thick neck and short torso, but long arms - Houston really had something going back then James Harden, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker...Chris Paul...etc. It really felt like that's the ultimate prototype for longjevity after those 30+ year old small ball Rockets played some of the best basketball in the history of the NBA.

Relatedly, Al has really rubbed off on Timelord it seems, it's awesome. Just play smart basketball, learn good timing on blocks and screens, keep your body fit...

No, it's about Robert Williams III.  His improvement this season means it's time to drop the negative moniker.  Is he a candidate for MIP?

Personally, I've never used the Timelord moniker.  I prefer to use Rob.

I know it was supposed to be a negative moniker, but it always sounded like he was a superhero to me.  So I’m sticking with it.
