Which player are you most excited / curious about?

Most excited by Tatum. Most curious about Brown being able to take another step up.

Have questions about everyone else. Depth, however, looks much better than in recent years.

Jaylen Brown.

Tatum is going to get most of the attention, and rightfully so, I do think he's the team's best player. But when I take a step back and look at what Brown has done in his career it's pretty remarkable. Last season he was 25-6-3 with an eFG% of 56%. He scores from everywhere, defends everyone, and balls out in the playoffs.

This season he's going to be a priority in the offense like never before. I can't wait to see what he does.

Of the new ones, Schroder I think will be the one that will make or break our season. I'm excited to see how he fits in. I already know what Al can do and Juancho is probably going to be a dirty work kind of guy. We're going to need Schroder's best version of himself if we are to be successful.

Yeah, I'm hoping he loves playing here, and plays well here.  We need to get him to agree to an MLE-level contract after the season for at least a year, before we can pay him like a long-term asset.  I think he can be really good here, and ideally I'd like to see him as a starter next to Smart.

I agree, especially about starting next to Smart. That makes for a quicker lineup, and Smart can take the opponent’s toughest wing scorer. Schroeder is quicker with the ball than Smart.

I've been on this bandwagon for a while. The dribble-penetration Schroder provides is unmatched by anyone else on our team. I also want Pritchard and Nesmith to space the floor either side of Richardson off the bench

I'd like to see a little more Juancho in the next game. His defense is quite good (although he bit badly on a pump fake on the Orlando game), and if he could rediscover his shooting could be a real weapon...

Tatum/Brown for sure. As others have noted, they are the ceiling both short and long term for this team in every facet.

The reason I want to see what they have is simple. This is the first time in their careers they don't the specter of a score first point guard on the roster. Even when those types of players are injured or out, the roster is still designed to accommodate them. IT, Kyrie, Kemba all fit that bill.

It is good for us to find out now if the team can be designed around these two leading the way both offensively and defensively.
