I hope that none of our present two way players are on the team.  There is better out there.

Tacko is a fan novelty project that is a ways off.  Waters is looking for his next gig.  Seems like a nice guy.  We have a ton of nice guys who can't play the classic over reaction after Kyrie.....

I agree for Taco, but finally two way are not suppose to play a role in the sucess. It is regular rotational players that may be better than last season.

And if he is limited Waters could become an OK 3rd PG with intensity in D ans PM. He can progress in shhoting and passing decisions and then be a little bit usefull on my opinion. We must find a better 2d or 1st  PG and a 4 il Jabari don't do it...

I think the only reason the Celtics would keep Tacko around is sort of as a “brand ambassador “, particularly for the new branding of our D-league team as the “Celtics”.  I would prefer, however, that we find somebody with a little more upside to fill the two-way spot.

In the end, it's the final year they can be used in this role, so I really don't think it's worth giving it too much thought... unless there's someone out there which can be had now that's really promising. I'm sure similar opportunities will be out there next year with a "fresh clock". So if there's organizational value to retain Tacko, regardless of his potential, I have no problem capitalizing on it for 1 more year.

And last year, Smart played around 45% of his time at PG given all of the injuries on the team.  He just isn't capable of shooting less or he would have done it in his 7 years in the league.
With all due respect, you are making stuff up. Per cleaning the glass, he played 23% of his minutes at PG last season.

Again, we were using Smart primarily off the ball. With this in mind, I bet CBS wanted him to take catch-and-shoot 3s, otherwise we would have been playing 4 vs 5 on offense. Hopefully, Smart will get more time at PG now that we moved on from Kemba. If I were Udoka, I'd use him exclusively at PG.

I suppose we could cut him, sign him to training camp, and then get him sent to Maine.  No idea how long he’d be eligible for.

depends on what site you use.  bball-ref has him at 45% at PG.  The first 11 games of the year (well the 9 he played) he was the starting PG and played almost exclusively at the point in those games.  He started 9 other games at PG throughout the year as well.

This notion that Smart didn't play PG a lot last year just isn't reality.  He certainly played SG as well, but he played PG a lot.
