Our team is currently sitting at 25-26, one game below 500.
While that record is definitely below our preseason expectations I'd like to point out some things that happened so far which definitely went above our expectations.

1. Emergence of RW3 -
We finally have our stating center of the future. He fills our needs and is cheap and young. This wasn't bound to happen, but it did.
2. Great use of TPE so far -
As an over-the-cap team, it is hard to improve your roster. Still, we might have found the solution for our unproductive bench in Evan Fournier.
We will be able to resign him over the summer if we decide to do so due to his bird rights. He has good size and a versatile offensive skill set. Just what we needed
3. PP in late 1st round -
We found our backup play at the end of the 1st round, which is always a champagne opener. PP looks like a steady guard, maybe not spectacular, but he is a contributor. His contract is a thing of beauty.

Considering all of this we are doing pretty well to get ready for the PO.
We have our core 4; JB, JT, Kemba, and Smart, these aforementioned 3, plus TT and Semi to fill in.
That's 9 solid guys for a run. While we are not in the top tier of contenders we can still make some noise.
That said, even with the current record I don't think we are a worse team than last year.

Feeling optimistic.
