For the 1956 Olympic games Russell would have been one of the United States high jumpers. He, however wasn't permitted to play basketball and also, high jump. It was a busy time for Bill he had just won the NCAA basketball championship again, beating Iowa. San Francisco was the first team in the history of the championship to go undefeated...29-0
