Examines the whole state of the C's, but I found that quote the most interesting.

It's an old saw about Danny and co.  I think Keith Smith had a really good article on the front page of Celticsblog recently where he had anonymous quotes from a variety of execs about dealing with Danny.  There was a breadth of responses but I think it made clear that although Danny / Zarren etc are as aggressive as you'd expect, they aren't unusually cutthroat or difficult when discussing / negotiating a trade.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

The other quotes about the head scratching results due to our youth being asked to step up which leads to them being asked to do more than they can handle is more insightful. As many on this board have suggested, double down on minutes to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year players and if we are surprised with some quick growth then cool. If not, it can only help us next year.

So what?

Then dont deal with the Celts

Ironically only team willing to trade with the Celts these days is the 76ers lol

Even after getting burnt with Fultz trade

While I don't buy much of this, I'd rather have a GM that has a reputation for trying to win deals than one with a reputation as a pushover.

I think it's pretty easy to look at Danny's deals over the years and conclude that he's had wins, losses and ties -- it seems obvious to me that he doesn't only seal the deal if he thinks he's going to bury you.

Ainge has painted us into a corner. All that great work he's done putting us into position to be flexible over the yrs. has ultimately led to us not being able to do a thing to improve the team.

...except draft more players. Luckily he's in Boston because that's all the Celtics fans want.

Not saying it can't be done but talk about choosing the hard way to go about it. Can't wait for the next Eric montrose or acie earl...

Lol alright which West exec is this that Danny screwed over lol

OKC from 2011? Or the Clips with the attempt for KG and Doc Rivers for DeAndre Jordan? Or must be Phoenix from 2015 when we got Isaiah Thomas from them lol.
