You say that, but you see players with worse contracts get moved often. Ainge may have to dangle some drafts picks with him, but IF he really wants to get rid of Kemba, I don't think he won't find a suitor. It's not like Kemba is unplayable. Celtics fans think he's toast, but with a true offseason and him getting stronger (physically, and mentally trusting his knee), I don't see why he can't get back to star level, even if not all-star.

Kemba to the Bulls for Otto Porter (expiring) and filler is probably the best the Celtics could do if they were to trade him right now. That doesn’t sound that bad to get that abomination of a contract off the books.

True, the pelicans hang up instantly but that would be a dream of a trade for the Celtics. Lonzo would help big time with the ball movement and Adams would help with the toughness/grit, arguably our two worst areas of play.
