Watching Heat tonight reminds me what ball movement and off ball movement looks like. A much more enjoyable game to watch than our product of late.

Yet they have a worse record than the Celtics. ;)

One thing I noticed about Miami, is that they lead the league in potential assists with 51...so perhaps they might eventually move up the standings.

“Leading the league in potential assists” sounds a lot like “leads the league in potential made shots”

Injuries. They’ll get on a roll eventually

The Celtics don’t have that excuse, of course.

Butler, Dragic, Herro, and AB have missed a combined 40 games or something.

Butler is the heart and soul of that team. They're nothing without him.
I fully expect Miami to claim a playoff spot.

Miami doesn't have the talent Boston has, so we win some games despite the lack of ball movement - but we won't win any titles that way.

Yeah, this is bad news and speaks to the heart of the problem. Because I don't think the problem is talent. As much as everyone is now saying the C's problem is their depth, they're not losing to bottom-dwelling teams because of their depth. They're losing because the whole is less than the sum of the parts. They're not playing together. That's what has to change.

Butler and Bam are on par with Brown and Tatum.  I think Brown is ascending and Butler is on the tail end of his prime.  Herro and Smart are opposite sides of the coin, offense to defense.  I think once Kemba is healthy the Cs have a positional advantage there.

I think it's a given that Miami's has better bench depth than the C's.  They are pretty even talent wise.  If you think the C's have under performed their talent then so have the Heat.
