Wow, more awful news. Is it just me, or does there seem to be a higher frequency of major ACL injuries so far this season? Fultz, Bryant and Dinwiddie already in just a few weeks into the season.

I'm glad the Celtics have been cautious with their guys , especially Kemba and TT.

Lucky that he signed that extension before this happened

Yeah, always a good reminder about why guys should take the money when they can.

With these teams losing starting centers left and right maybe we can sell high on Theis or Timelord and get an unprotected pick from an average team like wizards or hortnets 😬

Could it be the tight schedule that’s is causing more injuries?

I saw the replay of the injury and when I saw his ankle bend so bad when he landed, I thought he broke his ankle or lower leg. It was fairly gruesome looking. But as they got him off the court, he was holding his knee and I thought that weird because it looked more like a lower leg injury. Strange. Hard to figure out how he could have torn his ACL from that landing.

Yeah I was wondering this also. Could be the schedule or could also be that they did not have normal training camp and preseason and ramped right up to full game speed. Fultz, Bogs, Dinwiddie, Bryant, Isaac, Towns all with pretty serious injuries. That seems like a lot for this early?

Too many devastating injuries to start the year so far. Hate to see it.

I think it's all of the above. Tight schedule, no real training camp or pre-season. Also for half the teams it was a very fast turnaround from the bubble, for the other half it's been a very long time since they played or had any real NBA level workouts. Also guys are being asked to play new roles and more minutes with so many out each night from covid protocols.

That bend might have caused a ton of instability in his knee.
