Anyone know what his injury is and when he’ll be available to ply again?

Heard he was sick, not injured.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I hope he plays tomorrow and shows Danny that his option has to be picked

when does that decision have to be made, and why would Danny pick up his option when he cannot stay on the court?

December 29 is I believe the deadline. I think decision has been made on Grant - pick it, Romeo - most likely pick it but on Timelord not so sure. There is potential but he will also be overpaid next year most likely @ 3.5M

For me there is no question on picking up his option. Of Thompson, Theis and Time Lord he is the only player who has the long term potential to be truly elite at at least 1-2 things. He has the potential to be an impact player defensively and on the boards.

Problem is he needs minutes to get there. He should be getting 20-25 minutes a night.

He’s not without mistakes but I think he’a shown enough towards the end of last season snd in the bubble to warrant a greater investment of minutes into him this year to see if he can open it up.

He would have been helpful yesterday when Jordan and Allen were mailing us inside on the glass in key moments.

Te above said, most likely scenario is Robert Williams gets traded for someone smaller than 6’ 5”
That said, most likely

I have never been on Williams bandwagon..don’t get me wrong, would love see him excel but I just don’t see it happening..3rd stringer is what I’m seeing
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

On a side note, Timelord really needs to show up more consistently and show us he can be a solid rotational big.  Because otherwise, our depth at the PF/C position is still pretty thin. We saw what happened yesterday when Thompson got in foul trouble, and it's not going to be easy going up against the Adebayos, Giannis, AD + Marc Gasol, Embiid, etc.

I like G-Will but it's not ideal if he's getting minutes at the 5 honestly, at least right now. Maybe he grows and develops into that role long term but it's better with him and Theis playing the 4.

It's why adding someone like Aaron Gordon with the TPE and then maybe acquiring another depth big through the buyout market would be the best case scenario for us. And please Danny, enough with the roster spots dilemma. If someone useful is available, dump Edwards or whoever else if needed.

Wouldn’t mind having Dewayne Dedmon on the team right now
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Timelord can develop but he won’t be in his rookie deal anymore and it won’t be on a contending team.
I guess we are not contenders so we can afford to keep developing him so that we can match any offer he receives in free agency.. does it sound like a lose / lose situation?
