I’m not sure if I’d say he was fine. He definitely did not look right. I’m not sure why Toronto wasn’t feeding whoever he was defending the ball. The first ball they did and he couldn’t shuffle. He took one shot the final 8 minutes and air balled it by about 2 feet.

He really didn’t touch the ball other than a push or two on a fast break. Fingers crossed nothing comes out injury report wise after the game.

He was moving well defensively from what I could see, but yes fingers crossed

he played the entire rets of the game after the injury. He didnt take a shot after it but he didn't look like he was moving weird or anything. I'd guess he's fine. he'd better be, because I dont think Hayward will be back untill mid series at earliest so they will need him.

I was (and still kind of am) worried about a hip flexor. He was grabbing his crotch after the fall

I've had a strain before, and other than the initial pop when it happened I didn't notice anything until I physically couldn't lift my leg into the car. If it's a minor one, I could totally see him playing through it until the adrenaline wears off.

Hopefully I'm wrong, though
I'm bitter.

I've torn my meniscus surfing and didn't notice it till a few hours later when it started REALLY hurting. Let's hope this one's just a stinger and goes away after a few days

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Hopefully it's just a minor muscle pull and he will be fine. If it's a meniscus, then he will be out a few games. I tore my meniscus playing football and all I noticed was a pop. Had no problem finishing the second half of the game. It wasn't until that night and the next morning that I realized I couldn't bend or unbend my knee.

He's being interviewed now, I will see if he says anything about it

He seems to not think it's a big deal...also it was his groin that hurt not his knee
