Ya, when you can’t make 3s just stop shooting it, and let’s not set any plays to get open shots

right, I hope he's been taking notes, he's being reminded of why Nick Nurse is coach of the year and he's not even on the short list.

But...he is on the short list. He came in 7th out of only ten coaches to get votes...

Apparently not motivated enough.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

The Celts shot 5-for-22 on UNCONTESTED threes for the game.

The Raptors went 6-for-8 on open perimeter looks.

That’s not coaching.  Our system got us 22 wide open jumpers.  Meanwhile, we contested their shots.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before (ad nauseum), but “it’s a make or miss league”.  We just missed a lot more.

It's not a "make or miss league" if you attack the rim and actually drive to the lane INSTEAD OF TAKING AND RELYING ON 3'S all year long!!!

And yet, for the third game in a row the Celtics got to the line more than the Raptors did.

It’s almost like the game came down to who made more shots versus who missed more, rather than coaching.

We nearly doubled them in points in the pain and we shot 8 more free throws. This criticism makes absolutely no sense

I don't think that is a short list, he's tied at 8 with 2 other coaches (including Doc), among 11 coaches on nba.com.
