Thinking about who we might be able to go after within the next two years, Lillard comes to mind first. He's everything Kyrie is but with a better head on his shoulders.

Getting him without having a nucleus left over for him to win with, is probably not going to help myself contend. We need to have a legit team in place, with expendable assets of course. I think he's as good as it gets at his position, and I like having a top 3-5 PG.

Any interest in him here on CB? If things played out the right way? Would you prefer CJ McCollum? I'm just looking towards the nice big time guy we can hopefully obtain. I don't think anybody on our roster outside of Tatum can be a star, unless Hayward comes all the way back. Building with Tatum through the draft sounds miserable.

Lillard should absolutely be a target! It’s very unlikely he’s available. The blazers are all going in to win this season. They will also give him the super max extension which he indicated he will take so he’s not going anywhere.
Other targets at the trade deadline :
Beal if not extended by wizards
George
Griffin if price is low
Kemba if not overpaid at super max
Vicevic if not overpaid at super max
Turner from Indy
