Haven't seen anything about what her responsibilities will be but it would be funny if she's on the bench and gets T'd up for reacting to a bad call.

I know this thread isn't super serious, but it's a little disappointing to see people jumping to the idea that a woman hire isn't going to be tough.

I'm pretty sure playing for Tennessee, the WNBA and the Olympic Team exudes more toughness than a lot of NBA players possess.

What does being tough even mean for an NBA coach?  Tough on players is nonsense.  The NBA is a players league.  Complaining about calls and getting T'd up?  That may be useful sometimes but it isn't tough.

Meanwhile I hope the FO does some locker room management of their own and cut ties with some of the bad apples in the bunch (Rozier).

I think the # 1 need for Brad's staff remains a former NBA player. I forget who wrote it but someone (with credibility) wrote that there were some issues between players and coaches after Walter McCarty left because he had the credibility of being someone who really has been in the players shoes. 

I know that Jerome Allen had a cup of coffee with a couple of teams, but I think having someone on staff who had some success in the league might have an impact on Brown, Tatum and the other young guys and might help diffuse some of the off court crap that torpedoed the team last season.

I'm fine with Brad hiring Lawson.  But i think they still lack someone who can replace what McCarty brought to the table.

If they don't have the budget for that, drop another assistant.
