Rolled both ankles last game per Blakely
Brad Stevens said Marcus Smart (ankles) likely out tonight, so it sounds like he's more doutful than questionable.
Does Baynes start against Embiid? That would be my guess.
-
Good, rest him until 100%, play the rooks
-
i kinda knew he injured something against the Bucks, I was at the game live when they replayed a 3 he made and as soon as he made it he had this grimace on his face that showed like he was in pain, i think less than a minute later he was pulled out of the game
this was sometime in the 1st or 2nd quarter?

Here is a picture of his left ankle:

Doubt he plays tonight.

I don't know. Horford vs. Simmons is not a matchup I want to see. Maybe Morris gets the nod (but plays limited minutes)?

Anyone read the article about him and Kyrie needing to learn how to play together? I’m fine with him sitting out. He’s getting in the way on offense.
-
Geez can we start the season over? Horrible way to start
-
It happened the play before he hit that early three, he got rolled into by a Celtic who a Bucks player crashed into. Just played through it so the ankle didn't get cold.
Hopefully should be good to go soon, maybe just miss this one game.
-
ugh. this season is going downhill quickly...

I rather they figure it out actually.

This makes 0 sense.
You just gonna bench him for the rest of the season?
if they need to learn to play together then they need to play together and figure it out.

"they need to figure out how to work together, let's sit him so that won't happen" lol

Sigh, this is going to be a looonngg season.

Seriously, as soon as Hayward went down I wanted to fast forward the next 81.75 games, it's gonna be a long, slow crawl. But cheer up, this Smart injury ought to lead to breakout performances from either/both Brown/Tatum.
-
Oh come on. Not funny now.
Who else is next at this pace?
-
sit him. don't rush ANYTHING this year

To be fair, I did not say that they need to learn how to play together. I mentioned it to suggest that they aren't playing well together. My solution is for Smart to stay the hell out of the way on offense. What better way to do that than for him to sit down. It's perfect.
But seriously, smart is still a terrible offensive player. He needs to defer more often to pretty much every other guy on the team.

Too bad, I would love to see Smart on Fultz. Maybe Rozier can take up the slack.
