Title: Search bar and tags
Post by: mr. dee on September 24, 2017, 06:46:22 AM
Im not sure if this board have that kind of feature. I can't seem to find it anywhere in the forum interface. I'm looking for it because I don't want to create a thread with an existing topic already.

Search is in the menu, third from the top.

I've never seen tags though, I doubt the Forums have them.

Sorry, are we no longer able to search for threads? I find that people (myself included) start new threads unnecessarily, e.g. I wanted to make a fairly boring gratuitous comment about Smart's shooting recently.

Older threads are the greatest; getting to see old posts and how people's opinions (or obvious circumstances) have changed.

Working on some site updates behind the scenes; can definitely add bringing back a prominent + working search bar to the todos.

Can we bring back the member list?  Right now, we can only see the top-10 posters (which is a list that will not change too often).

I have no clue fellas. I found it by clicking something else, and seeing the URL change from index.php to index.php?action=blablabla. Then I guessed that if I changed blablabla to "search", it would show the search function.

Et voila ;)

That's really interesting kiorrik! It doesn't work for all sections of the blog, but I just clicked on my profile, deleted the word 'profile' in the url, and changed it to 'search' and it totally worked.

So if and when this thread disappears from 'Latest Discussions', at least I have a way to remember how to search. TP!
