We can go early right?  I mean as long as all of the selections have been made in front.  So when Who picks or at 2:15 I can pick?
Correct
Or do I go at 2:01? i.e. is the time listed the earliest I can pick or the latest I can pick?

Final post tonight (dw no undrafted players will be mentioned): befuddled with the Larry pick, especially with how players here dislike playoff underperformers. Larry was one of the greatest ever to play, but unless you go full databall I don't see how you'd not put him in the playoff underperformer category, where he'd consistently perform less stellar than his regular season numbers.
Tons of great players never put up the playoff numbers that they put up in the playoffs. Teams are better in the playoffs, on average, than in the regular season and in 3-5-7 game series, defenses can key on important players and defend them much differently and better than in an average regular season game.

If you look into a whole bunch of players, you will find this to be true.
Absolutely, that's why I said I don't buy it. What I was concerned about is people holding Bird's playoff numbers against him while voting.

So, hmm ... not who I thought would be available.

So, with the 5th pick of the 1st round, the Atlanta Hawks select Wilt Chamberlain.

I thought for sure that Wilt would be gone by now. Not really the guy or the direction I wanted to take but what the heck ... Wilt is awesome!

Four picks in, and my #1 is still on the board.
Interesting, I thought Jordan is the clear cut #1. Look forward to your pick!

Jordan is the best player, but in a game of superstars, I’d lean toward creating mismatches.

Yes. That is correct. I realized I had erred and edited that last post.

Wow very interesting. Think you're looking at Wilt's entire career more than one specific season though.

My 1B is still up there, guessing we have the same thought here.

Depends which season you pick for him.

1985 would be bad because his shot was affected from that bar fight. His other two MVP years in 84 and 86, Bird had great playoff numbers.

Bravo.

50ppg and 25rpg.

You cannot argue against that. The league changed the game because of him.

Arguably the greatest player of all time, and you got him at 5.

86 was amazing-he had a great statline. I'll check how it stacks up to other greats tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it's very competitive.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I was really hoping he would slip to me.  Just so many mismatches with good old Wilt.  The man that is the greatest player ever.
