Porzingis highlights

Yeah,  I think Porzingis is better than many are giving him credit for.  He really can give you some of everything you want from a big.  Clogs the lane on defense, rebounds, can score from anywhere on the floor, good enough passer that he keeps the defense honest.

I think he is also ready emotionally or in terms of maturity to assume a role on a good team and try to win.  He is saying all the right things.  He didn't want to be traded to DAL, he didn't want to be in WAS.  But he wants to be in BOS.  I think he understands that this is his moment, a three year (at least) run with a young, title contending team.

I think Porzingis is a great addition.  Exactly what we needed most.  A lot still needs to go right for him and for the team to win a title, but it is hard not be be optimistic given our pieces (well, it does seem to be hard to be optimistic for many, I guess).

I think he's really freaking good, when healthy.  Games played; 72, 66, 48, 57, 43, 51, 65.

Yeah, different stratosphere of talent level compared to the guys we lost. We are going to love having him here. A total unlock.

That doesn't excuse the lack of quality depth moves made otherwise but you take Porzingis for what we lost 82 games a year.
2023 Historical Draft: Toronto Raptors

Point Guard: Anfernee Hardaway, Fat Lever, Terrell Brandon
Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey
Small Forward: Marques Johnson, Danny Granger
Power Forward: Jermaine O'Neal, Bobby Jones, Kiki Vandeweghe
Center: Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka

I personally think we are going to win 74 games this year.
All kidding aside I love the addition. I have long worried about how we can fill either of the big man roles as Horford ages. KP fills a talent void at the very least. My brain always worries about health, but that is kind of true for most contenders.
Lets go Celtics!

What I never understood is why did it not work in Dallas? You'd think with Luka his pick and pop/roll would have been other worldly but he was completely lost in Dallas. They could have feasted on that with almost no stop since both are so smooth in that area. What happened and is there any chance we see a "Dallas" Zinger where it doesnt work here for some reason.
ok fine

That 3rd big man spot is an intriguing one. Given Jokic & Embiid are givens (with health), and Giannis gets listed as a forward, it could be an interesting race between Porzingis, Adebayo, Sabonis, Towns & Davis.

Aren't they making All-NBA positionless starting next year?
I'm bitter.

Argh, I had forgotten about this!

That being said, with the way some of the voters think (or don't think), it might be forgotten by them too
