2019 Historical Draft Thread(TIME TO REVEAL THE WINNER!!!)

ANNOUNCEMENT

Today is the final day of drafting for your teams. Team rosters do not have to be turned in until 11:59:59 PM EST on Wednesday September 4th(just before midnight tomorrow. When being turned in, make sure you include the season you are using for each player.

Trades can be made up until the time your team needs to be submitted for public consumption. Once you submit your team, you are ineligible to make a trade.

Once the round closes today, this thread will be locked, until after the voting has taken place and the Conference standings and Finals winner is announced. I will post everyone's submission for their final team in the original post after I receive them via PM. Please, for simplicity, PM me your players and year used in this format:

Once drafting is over, go to the How Does My Team Look Thread and you may post and discuss your team, your players, your strategy, how you think you compare to other teams..... anything you want there.

Voting will take place after all teams have submitted their rosters to me, the Commissioner. Final ballots do not need to be made until 11:59:59 PM EST Friday September 6th. This gives you two days to talk up and defend your team while comparing it to others in the HDMTL Thread. Once I receive all ballots, I will run the numbers, announce the Conference's winners, the Finals winners, the Conference's standings and everyone's ballot in a post by post reveal at a time to be determined. If everyone's ballots are in Thursday, I will reveal Friday at noon. If I have them early Friday, I will reveal Friday night at 8:00PM, otherwise it will be Saturday at noon. All times EST.

Never liked him. Statuesque defender. Cannot defend in space which is required in today's game. Huge. Absolutely huge. Like Yao Ming. But like Yao, probably worse than Yao, Eaton is in trouble any time he has to move his feet. And unlike Yao, no offensive game.

As an aside - Eaton credits Wilt for giving him the best advice of his career and helping him make it in the NBA. Basic advice but it stuck and served him well in NBA. Told him to stop chasing smaller guys away from the basket. Stay in the paint. Rebound. Block shots. That is your job.

Here is a guy I thought should have gone long ago. Lots of injuries but he was one helluva player. Excellent value half way through round 11.

Yeah, I really loved watching KJ play.  There’s a ton of value out there.
