This would be awesome! Bridges stayed another year, so it’s not unimaginable

He disappointed in tourney, may have hurt draft stock. He is a few years from helping an NBA team meaningfully.

Good for the Celtics.  Doesn't make any sense for Jackson.  Good for MSU.

He has been a consistent riser all winter, why would he want to try it over under more scrutiny?  Either he is hearing that he isn't as touted as the media said, or he's not ready to give up on the school life.

He definitely will benefit from another season at MSU.  He would have a chance to lead, improve his defensive positioning to avoid excess fouls, and take a bigger offensive role.  Those are all things he wouldn't get going to the league.

TP.....would be huge for us.

I'd be shocked if he stayed.

Granted Izzo is one of the best in the business.  The kids love to play for him and he love those kids. That's why so many players have stuck around  over the years. Great coach, great program.

But the downside for staying is far too great.

An injury,  even a small one, could cost him millions of dollars. He will absolutely go top 10 in this draft, and maybe top five. How much better could he possibly do next year for not that much more money.

Hey, we all want the kids to stay so was to enrich next years draft class. Just don't see it!
