Just got home and switched on...we let Lavine score 40 and markannen score 30?? What’s going on?

Just your normal trough in the valley for this team.

I know so many love the guy but I think it's time to say that Smart needs to go back to the bench. Over the last five games he has been AWFUL.

7.5 points 3.5 rebounds 3.5 assists 2.4 TOs shooting 29.2/21.2/50 in 29 minutes

It's not much better over the last 10-14 games either. His shooting has been terrible.

And tonight, Smart has been as bad as Rozier

Lauri and Zach = 70 Points in 66 minutes.

Markkanen is going to be a good player

I like Jaylen back in.  In for Tatum or Morris, preferably Tatum.

Agree.  He deserves to finish the game.

Rozier - 13 minutes, 8 shot attempts (0 assists)
Hayward - 23 minutes, 5 shot attempts

Anyone see something wrong with this?

It has been like that all year and is the #1 problem facing this team.

But that will all end in the playoffs.

Its a problem, but who is to blame? its not like Stevens is out there forcing hayward t overpass or be passive in general

Are you kidding me? I don't understand what some of you think the point of an NBA coach is. This is COMPLETELY within his purview as coach. Tell Rozier to stop shooting and Hayward to be more aggressive. This ultimately shouldn't be a problem in the first place if there was any semblance of discipline shown by these players, but the coaching staff never held them accountable.
I am in fact not kidding. I do think Stevens deserves a pretty signifcant porton of the blame for our performance this season, whetehr its playing Rzier too many minutes. Giving tatum too much leash to tae mid rangers, not riding the hot hand enough, playing yabuselle at alll, or a million other thngs. But i don't blame him for Hayward not being agressive.

Regardless of the C’s effort Lavine balled out tonight. I’ll tip my imaginary cap to him.

Not really.  They are not getting to 2nd place in the conference so if they cannot beat Indy or Philly without homecourt in 1st round they do not deserve to go anywhere.

Chicago put up 120 against us...and Gordon had 5? So it’s Bruce Bammer Hordon not the Hulk Gordon tonight?

Needed this win.  In Toronto next and likely 0-3 to start post-ALG stretch.  Horrid. Horrid. As frustrating a season as I can remember.
