this roster looked ready to contend for a title coming into this year.  60 games in and I'm thinking a moderate purge of the roster will be needed to get to that point for next season.  whether that comes in the form of trade for Davis for removing players that are providing negative value on the court in the second half of the season, some sort of shake-up seems in order.

At this point I'd just settle for purging Rozier from the roster.
one way or the other, I'd put money on him being elsewhere next season.

Rozier - 13 minutes, 8 shot attempts (0 assists)
Hayward - 23 minutes, 5 shot attempts

Anyone see something wrong with this?

It has been like that all year and is the #1 problem facing this team.

But that will all end in the playoffs.

Its a problem, but who is to blame? its not like Stevens is out there forcing hayward t overpass or be passive in general

Are you kidding me? I don't understand what some of you think the point of an NBA coach is. This is COMPLETELY within his purview as coach. Tell Rozier to stop shooting and Hayward to be more aggressive. This ultimately shouldn't be a problem in the first place if there was any semblance of discipline shown by these players, but the coaching staff never held them accountable.

well, rozier's out finally.  wonder how close the C's will get before losing out so that we can question how much more likely it would have been that the C's would have won had Rozier been pulled XX amount of minutes sooner

The Celtics would've lost this anyway but Rozier is an eyesore...

Game ain't over.  Rozier is out.  We still have a chance.

Rozier played 16 minutes and was a -16.

he wasn't the only one playing uninspired ball but he's about the only one I'm having difficulty thinking of one good play he made tonight

The moderate purge will be at the very least Rozier and Morris leaving, with a possibility of Kyrie.

I'd be satisfied never seeing him and his headband again

I think Rozier and Morris at a minimum.  they'll want to keep Kyrie.  I was referring to moves Boston would want to make

I like Jaylen back in.  In for Tatum or Morris, preferably Tatum.
