For Miami-Boston it's literally "home court DISADVANTAGE"

Boston is 6-2 AT Miami in playoff games since 2022, but Miami is 6-3 at TD Garden in same span.

Yeah I think Game 5 is the most important one regardless. Like even if we win Game 4, if we lose Game 5 then things could get dicey as Miami has momentum going into Game 6 at home again. Obviously worst case is if we go back to Miami in Game 6 down 3-2.

One game at a time. But the C's really should just win the next two and end it in 5 games.

A relief. Looks like someone adjusted. Coach credit?

It's hard to give credit for an adjustment that 90% of fans were calling for, and which should have been implemented in Game 2.

My wife says I’m pretty good at stating the obvious. So I’ll give Joe  some credit for doing the obvious. Kindred spirit.

yup. we have the better talent beat them by 20 both wins. as long as we show up and play smart we should win the next two. miami needs alot to go their way to win.

Missed the game due to work but looks as though it was a well balanced easy win, good to see! Hoping they don’t somehow have another dud this series.

Two keys to the game:
Only 5 turnovers.
Swarming defense and run anyone off the 3 in the 4th quarter.

yup. didnt we have like 20 turnovers each finals game against the warriors?

limit turnovers

miami cannot beat us scoring 2 pointers. they have no size and we have rim protection.

defend the threes,

This team is not just good in home court at all

2018 - Lost to Cavs on their homecourt
2019 - Lost all the home games against Bucks in a gentleman sweep.
2022 - Lost in the finals in their home court
2023 - Lost game 7 against the Heat

This is where I'm at.  The players responded well after the first quarter.  The decision to go with an Al + Kornet combo was headscratching.

The adjustments that should have been made in game 2 were simple.  Play smaller, faster.  Contest the 3 point line better.  Get into the ball more defensively.

LOL!!  How many players on this team were on the 2018 and 2019 teams.

Definitely and one other quirk I’m not a fan of taking Tatum out early especially in the playoffs. I get it we killed them today and played a [dang] near perfect game but sitting your best player midway through the first quarter just seems head scratching to me. Especially against a better team as we advance, taking out your best player is a W for the opposition.
