Ridiculous incompetence from the refs there. There literally looks to be no contact, and they called the foul just from him falling down. So ridiculous.

joe should've used the challenge there. Saved us three points.

Idk. The 1st quarter is way too early to use the challenge.

So hard to see Robin Lopez go right at Kornet. Ugh.

That shot by Brogdon didn't go in, but I love seeing Jayson get that burst of speed in transition.

Eh, that was an obvious one, and I think it would've been Boston's ball. Why wouldn't you use that there if it saves you an almost guaranteed three points? Better than risking it by waiting for a later game situation.

Brogdon should start at pg with Smart off the bench.

I think they are trying to keep Brogdon's minutes down. I'd rather have the ball in White's hands than Smart's. Smart is so slow bringing the ball up the court and he makes slow decisions...

They want Brogdon when one of the jays sits so that there’s not a huge drop off, NBC Sports Boston just showed a graphic showing our bench is scoring 34ppg /50% FG% / 58 offensive rating vs 30ppg / 43% / 51 offensive rating last season, and a big part of that has been Malcolm.

Stupid and careless foul by Kornet.

Exactly. It's an obvious call that the refs should've made. I'd rather have that challenge in more than likely chance are going to blow a more pivotal call late in the game.

The league really should just give a challenge per half.

Grant definitely has a target on his back with the officials now….

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Gary Washburn had an article in the Globe about Joe Mazz’s philosophies and you won’t be happy - he doesn’t like calling timeous to stop runs, he wants his players to figure it out, and he is prepared to lose games as part of the learning experience…and he is very stingy with challenges, he saves them for almost dunks. He’s a very hands off coach  :police:

Mind you he didn’t actually say this, this is what Gary concluded in the article based on observation. I will post it up later after the game for people to comment on it

He’s just overmatched. Be it Love, Lopez, or even Wade.

Man, Mitchell has young DWade written all over him. That high dribble he just did is so reminiscent of Wade's early Miami years.

Tatum has 2 points on zero field goals. He’s being doubled consistently.

The league really should just give a challenge per half.

That, or you at least get to keep your challenge instead of the timeout if you win the challenge.

The problem with that, though, is it could really highlight how inconsistent the refs are if they get multiple challenges confirmed each night.
