I'm actually excited to see Banchero go up against us.
BANCHERO! Me too!

Always excited to see the top young talent coming into the league and seeing how they fare against the C's.

Man, Jonathon Isaac is still out.

Did he play any games / preseason at all?

No.  He also has “no specific timetable” for his return, so one would expect he’s not that close.

Pritchard played really well in preseason and earned minutes (IMO).  The minutes just haven't been available.  I agree - I hope this game presents situations for him.   Like most players he needs some regular time.  Likely won't happen until injuries emerge, or Joe decides to rest Marcus, Malcolm, Derrick on some rotation.

Agree.  His overall game has declined so far this season, especially defense.  However, surprisingly, he has taken the third most 3s on the team (5/game) and is shooting 50%.

Horford's out tonight with back stiffness. Big minutes for Vonleh and maybe an opportunity for Kornet tonight.

Kornet did run with the starters in training camp. Maybe he starts and we keep the same rotation otherwise?

Or I could see Blake Griffin filling in for the role of Horford.

Either way, this is a good test of our defensive versatility tonight.

Suggs sprained ankle last night vs Hawks. I assume he’s a scratch tonight?

He played well their first game.

I think Vonleh gets the start and I honestly like what i see from him off the bench. Decent pickup so far this year. Active on the boards and defense and he surprised me with the spin move to hop step jam last night
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Yeah that's one of my bigger takeaways after just the first two games. Vonleh looks like he can definitely be a contributor off the bench and I like him as the 3rd big off our bench.

I still think when Timelord returns we'll need to find a way to add one more big man to stabilize the roster and depth, but Vonleh is making a nice case for himself too. I think Griffin is fine in small spurts here or there.

I feel like he will just be one of those guys that never fully makes it due to injury, sadly. Such a game-changer defensively, but he has only played 136 games since being drafted 5 years ago. He's roughly good for 1 game of every 3.

Tatum was taken 3 picks ahead of him and has played 231 more regular season games, plus 74 playoff games.
