My first Mock wanted to do one before rumors start flying. Picks are a mix of my big board, perceived system fit, and team need/roster construction.

1    Orlando   Chet Holmgren,
2    Oklahoma Cty   Jabari Smith
3    *Houston   Paolo Banchero
4    *Sacramento   Jaden Ivey, I can see getting moved. Maybe #5 and Grant for #4?
5    Detroit   Shaedon Sharpe, makes sense for Pistons to try to move up to #4 for Ivey
6    *Indiana   AJ Griffin
7    Portland   Jeremy Sochan
8    *New Orleans   Johnny Davis
9    San Antonio   Jalen Duren
10    Washington   Dyson Daniels
11    New York   Keegan Murray
12    *Oklahoma Cty   Ousmane Dieng
13    *Charlotte   Mark Williams, Williams or a trade up for Duran fills a need for the Hornets
14    *Cleveland   Bennedict Mathurin
15    *Charlotte   Tari Eason
16    Atlanta   TyTy Washington Jr.
17    *Houston   Nikola Jovic
18    Chicago   Ochai Agbaji
19    Minnesota   Wendell Moore
20    *San Antonio   Patrick Baldwin Jr. , great landing spot for Baldwin's development
21    Denver   Kendall Brown
22    *Memphis   Harrison Ingram , very Kyle Anderson like
23    *Brooklyn   MarJon Beauchamp ,  need wings who have a chance to contribute right away
24    Milwaukee   Jaden Hardy
25    *San Antonio   Hugo Besson
26    Dallas   Christian Koloko
27    *Miami   Moussa Diabate
28    Golden St.   Jaylin Williams
29    Memphis   Trevor Keels
30    *Oklahoma Cty   Walker Kessler

Caleb Houstan is widely believed to have a first round promise, so you need him on the board somewhere (my guess is OKC at 30 or San Antonio at 25).

I’m just glad we’re not all clamoring for TyTy at 16 like all the none believers that were ready to throw in the towel and started looking at the draft back in December.

I tried to ignore any rumors for this mock, my next mock ill look more into the rumors/speculation. Houston is in the early 30s of my board.

I just typed up a comparison between Zaire Williams, BJ Boston and Caleb Houston but lost it....

Bottom line these are what I have heard refereed to as "pre-draft picks" (maybe from KOC on ringer pod?). Meaning guys you draft based off the assumption that if they stay in college another season they will be much higher picks.

My guess for the promise would be #22 or #29 to Memphis. They reached last draft on a similar player in Zaire Williams and have the depth to develop Houston. Smart teams know they cant have enough 6'7+ wings and Memphis seems like a very intelligently run team.

It's not like the non-believers didn't have a legit reason to be non-believers back in December.

Guys that have worked out for the Celtics:

Julian Champagnie
Jared Rhoden
Darius Days
Teddy Allen
Justin Bean
Gabe Brown
Peter Kiss
Kevin McCullar
AJ Reeves
Malachi Smith
Lucas Williamson
Payton Willis
Isaiah Wong

We've got some shooters in here.

Might be a summer league invite or two on here.

Orlando should just take BPA. They don't have a star player of any kind that someone needs to fit around.

barring invites from weaker teams, I'd anticipate 4-5 of the ones on list being invited in addition to whomever the C's select from this list

none of those players should stop Orlando from taking a big with the first pick.  take BPA and move the lesser pieces for other assets.

Rumor is the Magic might let Bamba walk, Issac is so injury prone that its hard to factor him into future plans, and Wagner seems to be more of a 3/4 type (Franz not Moe).

The Magic could play a very Celtics like defense with Carter (playing ALs role) and Homlgren (playing Robs role).

I be afraid to take Holmgren..his height and thin frame might not be able to take the toll of a 82 game season..hopefully I’m wrong
