Per Hoopshype Rumors page via Sam Amico:

Multiple league sources have said the Oklahoma City Thunder are willing to deal second-year guard Jeremy Lamb if they can find a more experienced (and consistent) player to come off the bench.

For those of you wanting to move up in this year's draft, how about trading Crawfish for Lamb????

Or, we could make this interesting.

Bass and Lee for Perk and Lamb.  Saves us about 1.41 million this year and 1.05 million next year.

It is also a feel good story bring Perk back to reunite with his buddy Rondo.

Thoughts?

I do think the deal of Lee for Lamb maybe with a first round pick may be dealt, considering how efficient Lee has become under Stevens system. But Bass/Lee for Perkins/Lamb won't ever happen, because the Thunder still aren't okay with keeping Adams at their starting center.

Sometimes I'm so hard on Bass and his butterfingers
but he's our most consistent scorer, great man-man defense and he's improving on rebounding...

that's why i'll prefer him over Perk

OK.  Since Lee makes 5.23 million and Lamb only 2.11, could we offer part of our trade exception to make this work??

Also, would you consider Crawfish for Lamb and a first rounder this year?

To be honest, I'm not so sure any of them are even worth keeping. Jeremy Lamb seems like the type of player who literally has no confidence in himself.

Funny how the narrative on that Harden trade keeps changing.

Lamb was supposed to be the main asset that made that trade palatable for the Thunder. Now, Lamb is expendable, and it's Adams who's become the key piece in that deal.

We dont need Lamb.
Marshon Brooks is basically the same player as Lamb is, and Marshon isnt even getting playing time.
I dont really get why yall want to trade Courtney Lee, he has played very well this year!

Lamb is a 21 yr old prospect that has a lot of potential. Lee is who he is at this point - a guy who can produce on a bad team and a good 3rd or 4th guard on a playoff team.

I'm not even commenting on Marshon.

Are you really this naive?  Think Ainge cares about a feel back story?   I have the rights to a bridge I would like to sell you, my friend.   I will give them to you cheaply...

I don't understand why they would trade Jeremy Lamb. He has looked good when I have seen him play this season. I think he is someone they should be keeping hold of. I really like that Reggie Jackson + Jeremy Lamb combo off the bench.

The Celtics will not increase payroll because the team desperately wants to avoid the repeater luxury tax rate.

I don't think anyone is giving a first-round pick for Crawford or pretty much any other role player on an expiring contract.

Crawford is an expiring contract, but he is also a restricted free agent.  Crawford being restricted takes a great deal of the risk out of the equation, if trading for him.

I certainly would not trade Crawford for Lamb, Crawford is clearly more talented.  I don't think I'd accept anything less than a mid-first round pick and comparable expiring contract.
