The play where Kemba got the TO should've definitely gone to Brown. He didn't look happy about it either

Seemed like Tatum was hesitant to shoot early in the game.

How can Smart be the one taking the last shot on this team...

Because Brad is a...

I mean, it was a wide open shot. It was a good play.

Awful second quarter and Brad stuck with the Kemba - Smart - Javonte - Grant - Rob lineup that could not score at all in the 4th and went down 5.

Whenever the Kemba and Smart duo was out there tonight. The lead evaporated

That Tatum and Timelord unit was perfect

But Brad has to play the make everyone happy game

This is why the Celts lose games like this

Seems like Kemba has to take a backseat for this team to reach its peak. Jaylen and Tatum are the two best offensive players and the team isn’t that good defensively when he’s on the court. Sad, because I love Kemba, but looks like his role should change.

Okay the loss sucks but I find this absolutely hilarious that the refs are THIS insistent on calling another foul on Theis. Legitimately laughed when I saw they called it on him.

I find it odd that hitting Theis in the face is actually a legal play in the NBA... ;D
Right? I’m sure if I watched tape I’d see that he gets no more bad or good calls than any other non-superstar big in the league, but he sure does seem to get a raw deal a lot of the time.

He seems to be doing better defensively this year to me, trying a bit harder, faster to get to the ball

We lost our will at the end of the second quarter.  Let one stupid, lazy mistake become several.  Those inbounding blunders turned out to be the difference.  I feel like that's appropriate.

Teams don't get awarded wins just for being talented.  Have to earn it.  Do better next game.

He was fine on defense for much of last year IMO.  Only fell off after his knee flared up and he just couldn't move like he wanted.

Why Smart for the last shot?  I know he was open.
Because he was open.

Why did Brad play 13 players in a close game? 🤔

This.  An open corner three is one of the best shots on the court.  Nothing was wrong with that play.

He’s in the right spots from what I can tell. They are just so small with him out there.
