Budenholzer: "We didn't get many calls on drives."

What a joke. These guys are shook now that the refs are letting them play a bit more.

So I guess this means Tony Brothers for Game 2?
I think this is Budenholzer's way of telling the NBA they need even more biased reffing to continue the NBA's push of Giannis as their posterboy.

Is this a joke? We got to the line 8 times to their 24. Many of the times they got calls they should have been offensive fouls.

Bring on the White Walkers

The Celtics will beat them too!

Absolutely amazing win today - but let's not get ahead of ourselves. You guys have us taking out Milwaukee and Toronto after this one game.
Loooooooooooooooong way to go.

Fun fact: The only other time the Bucks lost by 20 or more at home came against the Magic. And in that game, one particular somewhat important foreign MVP candidate didn't play.

That was easily the Celtics best win since they went scorched earth against Golden State.

He did hit a couple in the 4th which kept MIL in it for at least the first 5-6 minutes of the quarter.

But yeah, that's the shot you want him taking. We visibly frustrated him on defense and it forced him to take shots from outside the paint that he probably wasn't comfortable taking.

Also while I still think it's annoying the refs favor Giannis every time he drives... I was actually happy that the refs let them play a bit more today. Horford and Baynes were physical on him and so were the others and at times I thought, "oh god here comes a bail out" but the refs actually didn't call a foul (thank god).

Might have to tape First Take tomorrow just to get Stephen A. Smith's reaction to this game.

My guess is he calls Al Horford a baaaaad man.

Stephen A. has praised the Celtics all season long and said he still believes in them.

Max Kellerman on the other hand will probably find some way to trash Kyrie  ::)

He doesn't hate the Celtics but for some reason he despises Kyrie. Maybe it's because he still holds bitter feelings about the last time Kyrie made an appearance on First Take  :P

Well, he's a big Lakers fan too.

Anyways, great win today.

Lol actually, check out Kellerman's Twitter Feed. He credits Horford for his work on Giannis (and Embiid last year), but he's also making excuses already that MIL is missing Brogdon and that's the main reason the C's won.

Yeah he is like 3/5 from the arc but apparently it's not his game, without the superstar calls he will be more miserable

I just don't understand why these people that say that Brogdon is such a big part of their team. Isn't Smart a BIGGER part of our team that we are missing. I don't get it. Smart > Brogdon

He is a big part of their team but I agree. It works both ways. Smart is a big part of our team as well. Brogdon is better statistically but it's not like Brogdon is an all-star either. And Smart is a better defender than Brogdon (though Brogdon is a good defender himself too).

I just don't understand why these people that say that Brogdon is such a big part of their team. Isn't Smart a BIGGER part of our team that we are missing. I don't get it. Smart > Brogdon

Brogdon is a top 10 SG. His all-around game is underrated. A lethal shooter who is in the 50-40-90 club. A solid scorer (13ppg last year, 15ppg this year). A good ball-handler and capable passer. Capable of playing both guard spots. A solid rebounder. And a strong defensive player.

It is his versatility, two way play and ability to help his team in every facet of the game that makes him so much more valuable than his 15-4-3 stats suggest. Along with his stellar efficiency.

.....

I'd rate Brogdon ahead of Smart because of Brogdon's jump-shooting ability (41% on 600 career 3s). Smart is close to being a top 10 SG as well. Smart is awesome. I'd trade him for Brogdon in a heartbeat though.
