Okay, so Timelord and Brogdon both out tonight for sure now. I get it with Brogdon. With Brunson out tonight and a B2B tomorrow, save him today and hope he can play tomorrow.

The big question will be Al. We really, really need him tomorrow against Cleveland without Timelord. I wonder if we’ll see if Joe tries to limit Al some tonight with the possibility of playing tomorrow, too.

I understand playing it safe with Al, but given the situation and how close we are to the number one seed, as long as Al doesn’t have an injury or nursing anything I try to play him tomorrow too as long as he doesn’t get major minutes tonight.

I'm hoping Horford plays the next two, and then maybe they rest him either this Wednesday or Saturday. Because yeah if he can't go tomorrow we're really screwed against Cleveland. Unless the team is fine taking a "scheduled loss" tomorrow assuming they win tonight. Whether we like it or not, they've sort of done it before. I mean they won, but against PHI a month ago they ruled BOTH Timelord + Horford out and it was legit our 3rd stringers vs. Embiid
I don’t think they can afford any more schedule losses. They need to string wins together now no matter how ugly they look. Losing the 1 seed would be disastrous imo. They need to take care of the Knicks tonight (w/Brunson out) and the Cavs (potential Mitchell misses game too). The Bucks keep on winning so Cs can’t fall too far back.

Don’t you guys find disturbing how the NBA pushes betting so hard?
Sports betting is dangerously addictive.

I mean, feels like every time ESPN comes back to the studio, there is a draft kings segment.  I am very disappointed.

Can’t take them lightly, even without Brunson. Come out with the same energy and intensity you did for Brooklyn, but maintain it this time.

It's truly awful. And annoying. It just makes it look more obvious that these games are rigged lol

I mean does TNT, NBATV or any local broadcast do this as well? It just seems like a terrible look for ESPN to be the only one doing it. Since you know, obvious big market biases with ESPN/ABC

This is basically norm in European soccer. A ton of teams are sponsored by betting sites/companies. It will get a lot worse now that betting is becoming more prominent/profitable in more states.

Yeah but in those soccer matches, are they cutting in every 5 minutes and asking, "who will get the next yellow card" or "who will score this next goal" or "who will possess the ball the most over the next 10 minutes". It's absurd  ::)

Sports betting just became legal here in Ohio and its everywhere. Just being pushed at every turn. Super annoying.

the local broadcast is heavily loaded with betting segments including lots of commentary on betting aspects and even bets to be made in game.  hate this with a passion

No, but they plaster it every where else possible from team jerseys, so to sideline ads to adverts on score box etc

ESPN continuing this dumb habit of starting a game 20 minutes after the "tipoff time"  ::)

Quickley is becoming the new "Khris Middleton" against us. Unreal

He missed it, but like JT going inside for his first look instead of the three.
