Is the speculation, hurt, and anger over this going to linger for the next decade like Ray Allen leaving did?

I got over this one the weekend after it was announced. Does everything have to be a conspiracy theory?

Amen. Some of the same people complaining today about Ime leaving for BKN were complaining about him in Boston a year ago. Some people just like to complain and use this as a form of therapy.

I’m concerned about the players on the court. We need Williams back. Until then, we’re just an above average team.

I’m not ready to throw Joe M to the wolves like so many wanted to do with Ime. Patience.

Without knowing exactly what happened (obviously) it really feels like the Celtics organization handled this situation exactly as it should've. They saw wrongdoing, punished it, and kept everything in-house that was possible to.

Given the situation with Kyrie, Ben Simmons, Durant and everything else... I just don't see how the Nets could have a productive season. Ime might be out of the frying pan and into the fire with this. He'd probably be smarter to take the year off and find a job next summer when there's more space between him and his scandal and he can go to a team that isn't a raging dumpster fire.

Danny Ainge is the bigger loss. Goodbye Ime. Go lose in Brooklyn. It’s about the Jason’s and the Joe’s, not the X’s and the O’s. Ainge stacked this roster.

Danny Ainge the bigger loss that traded for Kyrie and paid Gordon "hospital" Hayward and Kemba "broken down" Walker and at one point wanted to trade four draft picks for Justise Winslow?  ;D

And brought in Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford, two of the most likeable and "Celticky" players since Pierce and KG.

If Ime actually wants people to think he’s smart he’d turn down the Nets job.
That situation is just a mess right now. And I don’t think it’s something any 1 coach can turn around

What were the Celtics supposed to do, if they decided for whatever reason that a suspension was necessary?  I guess they could have said that Ime was on a one year "leave of absence" without calling it a suspension, but it seems unlikely that that would have satisfied the media.  And, as I recall, it wasn't the Celtics who initially outed the story, but rather Woj and Shams (who were probably fed the info by somebody connected to Ime).

Yep, she's grasping at straws and laying blame to the wrong party...

The Celtics were saying he violated team policy. That was it. The details actually came from multiple other sources and some were even saying the celtics were trying to coverup and its bigger than being reported by them. I dont really know what shes talking about
