Is there really any point to throwing out there womens' names?

It's still all speculatory (and a bit cringeworthy) and at the end of the day, does it matter one bit to anyone on here?
The woman's status could matter.  Is she a young intern?  Is she married to someone else in the org?  Where is she in the organizational structure in relation to Udoka?
if there's any truth to people in the C's organization knowing about the relationship and allowing it as consensual (initially), it would suggest that this involved someone who wasn't married or in a position that he could influence necessarily.  no way the C's would sanction a relationship with a married co-worker (not getting into infidelity morality but the issues with this type of relationship involving a married person is an obvious issue in the workplace) nor a relationship where Ime had influence over this person.

That’s my impression of it.  Just because you’re lower on the pay scale doesn’t mean you’re a subordinate.   If Ime and someone that works in the Celtics payroll department are having a relationship, it’s not like Ime can go to Celtics management and get her fired, at least not without raising some serious red flags on himself.

It gets subjective, but if that woman *feels like* Ime can put her job at risk, it can become an issue.  It's still about the power differential.

Yeah...  I feel terrible for the various women who have been subjected to rumor and innuendo here.  At least one serial liar just did a search of female Celtics employees and started making up rumors, and it seems like a substantial part of the internet has followed along.

And now, what has started as presumably an isolated incident has indeed become a hostile work environment for female Celtics employees.

Yeah, it really sucks for all these women whose names are being dropped.

Well this "article" constantly contradicts itself.

Says she's 26, then 33.

Says she has 2 kids, then says she has 3.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

The Celts hired a private law firm to conduct an investigation.  They won't be saying much of anything at all due to "privacy" (i.e., legal) reasons.

Players are "very concerned".

Suspension is through June 30, 2023.  Ime's future hasn't been determined beyond that.

Brad:  Nothing to add.  Long, thorough process.  It's been a hard time.

It's been hard on women in organization.

Wyc:  Found out about the situation over the summer.  Investigation had some "twists and turns".  Wrapped up 2 days ago.  Can't disclose details of investigation.

Suspension is "well-warranted" and backed by substantial facts.

Brad:  No way to control twitter narratives, but it's "unfair" to female employees.  Messaging and support is being provided.

Wyc:  Have enforced similar team policies in the past.   No other employees are being disciplined.  Concerns with culture don't go more broadly than Ime.

Brad:  A lot of people (players) weren't aware that there would be a change.  There's a real relationship there.  A personal connection.  "Human beings are human beings".  Players / coaches can't walk back on the court and pretend that everything is fine.  There are "human emotions all over the place".

Wyc:  There are no clear guidelines in terms of how they came to one year versus a firing.  It was clear that "something substantial needed to be done".

Brad:  Ime was vetted.  There was nothing in his past to suggest a history.

The timing is hard on Mazzula and the rest of the staff, but Brad believes in him.

Brad:  Declined to answer whether he considered stepping in (Wyc says they did talk about it).  "Joe's the best choice by a long shot".  Brad:  "Absolutely not" in terms of stepping in this season.

Wyc: "There were a couple of violations, at least".

Won't say if it's an unpaid suspension, but it's a "significant financial penalty".

Wyc:  "Our hands are basically tied...  there's going to be a consequence".

Brad:  You need to have empathy for everybody involved.  "It's a really tough time".

Brad:  There could be an addition to the staff, but it hasn't been discussed a lot yet.  Believes in current staff, thinks that multiple guys could become future head coaches.

Won't go into the specifics of suspension, what contact is / is not allowed.

Brad:  Has fully vetted Joe Mazzulla about college incidents.  Has known him a long time.  Brad believes strongly in Joe's character.

Something Something it’s the organisation’s fault and this is exactly why Boston won’t get it done because the Locke room is tainted Something Something
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

Stevens sounded/looked emotional when speaking. He also swore so now we can confirm this was a very bad situation. If there real like Ned Flanders is sweating at a presser, something is messed up.
