Penn State blew our Auburn on the road.  Time will tell if this is more of a statement of Penn State’s quality or Auburn’s, but it feels like the Big 10 East will be the toughest in college football with Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Penn State.  Entering tonight’s games the 7 teams in that division are a combined 18-0.

The counter is the Big Ten West might very well be the worst division among the power 5 though.  Plus, Michigan State is currently losing 9-0 to Washington, so they might not be very good either.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Make that 22-0.

It is more about Auburn.  They were picked by most folks to be the worst team in the SEC West.

Michigan has played 3 of the very worst teams in college football:  Colorado State, Hawaii and Uconn.  All the games were at home.  Vanderbilt went to Hawaii and beat them 63-10.  OSU struggled with a mediocre Notre Dame and the other 2 games were cupcakes.  All 3 games were at home.

Quite a few sluggish starts so far. Michigan down 13-10 to Maryland. Penn State struggling. Georgia barely beating Kent State currently. Clemson up just 3 against Wake Forest. All games close to halftime btw

Other than Kent State/Georgia, none of them are surprising.  Michigan had beaten 3 of the worst teams in college football.  They aren't getting pressure rushing 4.  Clemson doesn't look much better than last season.

I think Clemson is in serious upset alert now.

Also side note, but has every Michigan game so far been at home for them lol? Definitely feels like it

#25 Miami went down to Middle Tennessee State. Embarrassing loss.

To wrap up it was a great day of college football.  Lots of close games.  Some upsets.  Georgia doesn't look quite so elite.
