Turner’s contract will expire after the 22-23 season.

The Indiana Pacers have had him on the trade block for two seasons…with no takers, so the most likely scenario is Turner will walk for nothing.

This deal gets the Pacers; Joe Harris on the same salary but with an additional year, a young rim protector in Claxton and a first round pick (in a very deep upcoming draft).

both Turner and Theis are more proven than Claxton and Harris isn't exactly someone a rebuilding team would take in with an extra year on his deal.  Turner coming off their books isn't exactly a negative and he's still got value at the trade deadline for a team looking to make a last half push for the playoffs.

I'm actually a no on Nets side. Like Harris and Claxton.

So if different posters disagree than maybe it's an okay trade?
