I agree with that.  He p---ed off his owner, GM and QB.  That will get you fired in most situations, regardless of success.

I agree overall that you can’t say there was no reason for Flores to be fired. The issue I have is that in general a 9-8 season doesn’t lead to a termination, just like a first round playoff exit doesn’t lead to a termination. Yet somehow black coaches seem to keep finding themselves in those uncommon situations. I don’t think the GMs are purposely being racist, but it seems like the leash is almost always shorter with black coaches.
