These aren't the same old Celtics, which is a good sign.
How many times in the last two postseasons did we see this team get off to slow/awful starts, look terrible defensively (especially 2023), and blow games in the 2nd half due to their own stupidity.
Well, today felt like a game they were gonna blow after not taking advantage early on, just like Game 1 against Philly last year. And guess what? They just put their foot on the throats of Cleveland in the 2nd half and blew them out. No mercy. Answered every run or momentum-moments from CLE. Mitchell going off? Doesn't matter, no panic and just keep playing our own game.
That's a very, very encouraging sign
This is a different roster and they look way more locked in than last season, from the coach all the way to the 15th man on the roster.
