Brown has been bad on both ends these last 2 games. He still misses shots at the rim. And he has not done much defensively. He forces 3s and really to me is the weak link as a starter. Would be fine if he was moved to the bench.

Here comes the Raptor hype....

It’s deserved.  They’re either the second-best or the best team in the east.  We didn’t play all that well tonight particularly in the second half, but Toronto had a hand in that and it’s no fluke that they beat us.  They’re a good team and a legit threat.

I was encouraged by Hayward’s play tonight though.  He showed glimpses of being Gordon Hayward, which we’ll need.

It is game 2. And they got this one at home. Favorable schedule to start. Toronto will peak by March and flame out in the playoffs

I doubt they're gonna "flame out in the playoffs" now that they replaced their coach, replaced DeRozan, and LeBron left the east.

Brown sat down the stretch because Leonard was abusing him.

Let's not overreact to this game, the Celts are many games away from figuring out how to manage this team. I'm glad to see Hayward hitting some shots tonight and kyrie is looking better.

We hung pretty close up until the last few minutes despite many questionable calls against us and leonard having a strong game. Let's see where we are in a month or two.

id trade haywards no winning nothing gimpy honky ass for a big man tomorrow.

seriously though,  they do have too many players.  its going to cause a problem.   i thought it would work itself out,  but until an injury happens,  its going to look like this awkward mess.

if im brown, or smart, or rozier or morris im going to eventually start thinking about not being on e court when its the end of the game.

Are you serious? I can't tell if this is a genuine opinion a real person holds

How many rebound layups did we miss tonight? It was like watching Valencuinas vs Cleveland last year where he had like 8 attempts at a layup and missed. Danny Green & Ibaka killed us along with VanVleet. Lowry with the charge calls were BS but he got the home calls. In the long run I expect us to be much better and Ibaka cannot play better than he played tonight. They are a pretty formidable team though and far superior to Philadelphia. Now we need to focus on NY tomorrow night.

Boston left a lot of shots 5 feet from the rim short. Toronto took the game with the 11 FTs in the third. Allowed them to catch up and take the lead.

Still say that Toronto's ceiling is nowhere near Boston's

So how many guys sit tomorrow in NYC? Could see Brad sitting Hayward and Kyrie all together.

I agree. I think what we saw tonight is close to Toronto's ceiling.

Those two guys need the reps, they won't sit.
