Am I reading this right?  Maine Red Claws game on NBCSB live starting at 8:00pm. I know most folks will watch the Pats game.

I will watch the Pats, but I look forward to the Claws games when Tacko and Romeo are back playing.

Dang Romeo injured again. Shame after a strong start to the game. His luck has to change at some point - or maybe he’s got to change the way he finishes if he is landing on defenders’ feet...
Romeo is playing.....just hit a 3

Thought that was a rebroadcast??

I hope so!  I can see myself on TV.  Otherwise, the space time continuum is on the fritz again...

CptZoogs — or should I say, Timelord!?!

Vincent Poirier looked decent for The Red Claws tonight. One rebound shy of a double double with 3 blocks. He needs a lot more reps.

Poirier looked far more confident than I've seen him so far.... He out played DRAGAN BENDER ( except for the 3 pointers by Bender...) Poirier looks like an NBA player.( He took and made that very long two out there tonight and if he works it all the way out to 3 pt range. Dragan is only 22 years old ( I really liked him as a project for boston when he came out in . He still has time. Poirier is 26 and he needs for the game to slow down for him a little, Poirier moves really well on the basketball court he just needs to be sure where he's suppose to be at all times. He also needs that outside shot. Poirier hit one tonight and looked more confident hitting it than Ben Simmons.

True, but it's something for a 3rd string center....

Saw Bender out there and was amazed...appears he didn't play in Europe since being drafted...only 22...played all 82 games for Phoenix in 2017-2018.  Let's start the "get Dragan Bender" thread!

I liked Bender in his draft but he hasn't progressed much. Phoenix has ruined so many high draft picks....

The battling crustaceans were back at it tonight, and lost.

Romeo and Tacko did not play, but waters and poirier did.

waters = 18 points, 11 assists, 3 steal, 5 TO in 36 minutes. he shot 6-18, including 3-8 from 3 point land.

poirier = 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks in 27 minutes. he shot 5 for 9.

Oh, and bryce brown had his entire career in one game. he shot 11 for 11 from 3 point land and scored 43 points.  :o

an update!!! and only one day late. yesterday the fabulous red claws pinched the heck out of iowa and racked up another win, 127 to 121.

romeo and tacko were back in action and edwards joined in the victory. here are some stats for the baby celtics...

waters
27 minutes, 8 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds. he shot 4-7 and 0-2 from 3 point range.

tacko
14 minutes, 13 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. he was 5-8, but 2 for 12 in FT. that is a good step forward.

romeo oh romeo
18 minutes, 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block. he shot 3-9 and 1-3 for 3 pointers.

the star, once again, was yante maten.
31 minutes, 26 points, 16 rebounds, with 2 steals. he shot 10-18 and 1-2 from 3 point land. he has looked good in a number of games in terms of numbers. he is 6'7" and plays center.

maten shows us how much stock to put in these g league stats.  :-\

but still, romeo and tacko are back!!!!

Apparently he played very well for Heat G League team last season, and was a surprise cut by them.

On the small side, but is he a possible call up to fill our roster at the power 4 position?  Would like to learn more about him.
