So do people understand that Williams isn’t really ready to contribute at a high level right now?  Sure, he’ll go all out for blocks but other than that, he’s a liability.

And the rebounding and the passing and the finishing inside.
And all the mistakes in between.  Kid is rawer than sushi.  He’s not ready.

His rebounding is worse per36 than Baynes and about equal to Theis. He hasn't shown otherworldly rebounding ability. Just okay. His passing shows promise but he really hasn't been doing any passing. As for finishing inside. Big deal. It's all he has shown. 22 dunks in 28 made field goals. Do you realize how much that limits the offense?

The guy just isn't ready.

Though I agree Williams is very raw, not ready, I would point out that dunks are all he's been asked to do on offense and he's executed them well.  Who else on the team can dunk like that?  No one.  So, of course that would limit the Celtics overall team offense if that's all he will ever do, but that may not be the case.  His mid-range stroke looks OK mechanically so I tend to be optimistic about his future on offense.
