If Ray is out for a game or two who steps in (starting) tomorrow against the Mavs?

1) Paul Pierce is our SG and Bill Walker is the SF

2) Eddie House is our SG

3) JR Giddens is our SG

4) Gabe Pruitt is our SG

I prefer option number 1 or 3. 8)

Hopefully Ray can use this to excuse himself from the All-Star game if he does recover before then.

this could be a blessing in disguise if it means Pruitt and Walker get some meaningful minutes for a few games.

He is deserving, plays very hard and can rebound very well for his size, it would be nice if that limited KG's minutes so it could be a blessing

I was hoping he'd get selected.

Hope Ray's well though.
Anything is possible!!!

Yeah Ray has been so solid this year he deserves to play in the game but him being healthy for the stretch run is important so hopefully he can use the week to rest up and be healthy

I hyper extended my thumb a couple of years ago playing softball. Kind of a screwy injury. I still have pain at odd times. I told my doctor about this, he said that hyper extending your thumb is one of the rare injuries that will never really heal completely. There are limited exercises that you can do to re-strengthen the area, and so its just something you live with.

Now, it is not debilitating and I haven't stopped doing anything that I did before. However, I'm wondering how something like this could affect our best shooter, who is also a righty (he injured his right thumb). We'll have to see....

Not good news at all. Glad the x-rays were negative.

Maybe we see more Walker?
