No we don’t need harden hahahahahaha

We don't. We need a real, live bench that isn't just rookies and 2nd year players who are destined for the Chinese league.

Pathetic 2nd half. Our dspth didn't lose the game imo.

My take: Ainge needs to use the TPE this season. We need another player.

Why don’t Payton Pritchard or Nesmith even touch the ball in garbage time?

We got lucky against the Bucks and now we are facing reality that we are truly no way beating the Nets in the playoffs.

Could be 0-2 by now.

That second half was an ass-whooping.  No other way to say it.

Not that it's a comfort, but I think the Nets will do that to a lot of teams this year.  They have a ridiculous mix of top end talent and depth, with no real holes in their rotation.

Brad also deserves blame tonight

He lets Tatum and Brown do everything/anything.  Nash instructs the Nets to just focus on these two.  They don't pass to their teammates anyways

Still think the East goes through Milwaukee? It goes through Brooklyn.

awful second half.  team got nothing from the bench and J's couldn't keep it going throughout the game.

Team needs Kemba and a really good player with that TPE.  Smart can't be our 3rd or 4th best player this season and have any reasonable expectations for a lot of playoff success

Been saying this for awhile now. We need another wing player BADLY.

Tatum and Brown are going to have to improve their passing and playmaking, particularly when defenses tighten. That's our #1 limiting factor right now

That’s where we’re missing Hayward.

I mean, sure, but let's not also forget that we're missing an All-Star starter point guard, too. Kemba coming back healthy should solve a lot of our playmaking problems, especially with Brown's improved playmaking.

I really think this is a pipe dream. Whenever he does come back (not anytime soon), he's gonna need the Kawhi treatment for the rest of his career. I don't think we can count on Kemba for anything, and have to view any contribution he makes as a bonus.

Kemba would help, sure. But even with Kemba and Hayward last year, we had the same struggles. Tatum and Brown are going to get the ball a lot and defenses will focus on them. Until they learn how to move the ball better and faster in those situations and create shots for the open guy, they are going to struggle against the top teams.
